Now here’s a way of being sincere to the “competition”.
Nintendo’s UK chief was speaking at a Learning Without Frontiers event in London and while there, he decided to toss some praise at Microsoft and Sony for moving the industry along quite nicely. The healthy competition has helped “to promote game development, providing the extra tools for developers and help them experiment and explore new ideas and concepts.”
He went on to say that there are “really powerful programs and games that come from Sony and Microsoft” using Little Big Planet as a “fantastic example”.
Well this is a nice little healthy tidbit to say to the other console providers. Nintendo is such a good sport!
